Event Representation, Tours and Visits

The mission of the CoA Ambassadors is to recruit and retain students in MSU’s College of Agriculture while instilling a life-long appreciation for agriculture and natural resources within current and prospective students. The CoA Ambassadors offer individual or group tours of agricultural facilities on-campus and at the Bozeman Area Research Teaching (BART) Farm. They meet with prospective students on campus and are available for off-campus presentations on career and college topics relating to agricultural sciences. The Ambassadors work to support and mentor incoming students in the College and they represent the College at numerous events including: Celebrate Agriculture Weekend, MSU Friday, State FFA Convention and more.

Interested in a visit by the Ag Ambassadors to your school? Want more information? Please fill out the MSU CoA Ambassador Request Form.

Recruitment & Retention

The Ambassadors participate in recruitment based events including MSU Friday's, prospective student visits, and more. Each spring, the Ambassadors write letters to prospective students offering assistance and information about the College. Interested in hearing from an Ambassador? Fill out our Ambassador Request Form! Each fall, the Ambassadors work to welcome and communicate with all new students in the College. In this effort, the Ambassadors strive to offer event tips, registration deadline reminders, stress relief options and much more. The Ambassadors hope to welcome all new students to the CoA and assist whenever possible.
